Traditional status Director of Operations, Training, Force Management, Security and Mobilizations for the Virginia Army National Guard.

- Commands a Regional Support Group consisting of over 1900 personnel in 2 Contracting Teams, 2 Logistics and 1 Engineer Battalion stationed in 11 locations across the Commonwealth of Virginia.- Headquarters is responsible for the execution of domestic and contingency Mobilization Force Generation Installation (MFGI) and Base Operation and Support Integration (BOS-I) missions.- Responsible for all aspects of climate, culture, operations, administration, logistics, and training.

- Oversees all Logistics functions in the Virginia Army National Guard as the AGR Deputy Chief of Staff, Logistics.- Responsible for 300 personnel with operational oversight of 13 Field Maintenance Sites, Mobilization and Training Equipment Site, Combined Support Maintenance Shop, Supply Support Activity, Central Issue Facility, Ammunition Supply Point, Transportation Management and Installation Transportation Office, and Property Management Branch.- Program Manager responsible for budget forecasting, stewardship, and execution for 7 subaccounts across the Logistics Enterprise in excess of 19 million dollars. - Region 2 representative for the National Guard Executive Advisory Group for Logistics Excellence (EAGLE) Council.

The Deputy Secretary of Defense chartered the Joint Rapid Acquisition Cell (JRAC) Secretariat to facilitate meeting the urgent operational needs of U.S. fighting forces. Due to the high visibility and urgent nature of the JRAC missions, highly experienced personnel are required to meet the time sensitive, cross agency, collaborative, and complex requirements. The JRAC mission reduces acquisition timelines down to 6-24 months to meet Secretary of Defense requirements.• Lead consultant for Joint Urgent Operational Needs (JUON) / Joint Emerging Operational Needs (JEON), and Rapid Acquisition Actions. Coordinate directly with Combatant Commands, the Military Departments, Joint Staff J8, and Comptroller to execute the $850 million annual Rapid Acquisition Authority.• Consults on technical and managerial actions and provides expert advice, support, and coordination to facilitate the vetting, funding, implementation, operations, and support approaches to JUON / JEON resolution.• Reviews and supports preparation of rapid acquisition strategies, JUON/JEON management plans / plans of action and milestones, operation and support approaches, and other rapid acquisition efforts. Tracks the status of needs and supports the preparation of reports for the Executive Director, JRAC, and those from the Executive Director, JRAC, to DoD executive leadership, and JRAC members.• Analyzes global environment for required changes to US Code section 3601, Urgent Acquisition, prepares legislative proposals and updates the DoDD 5000.71, DoDI 5000.81 and DoDM 5000.78 based on changes to the US Code.• Plans, schedules, coordinates, documents, and when necessary, chairs senior executive level, cross-functional meetings.• Reviews Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) documents and data to ensure that transition planning and programming for capabilities acquired as Joint Urgent Operational Needs is accomplished.

- Oversaw all Logistics operations in support of Virginia National Guard Civil Support mission.- Responsible for integration of Virginia Army and Air National Guard assets in coordination with Virginia Department of Emergency Management, Virginia Department of Military Affairs, and the Virginia Defense Force.

- Oversaw General Support Maintenance, Transportation and Quartermaster operations in the US and 14 separate locations throughout the Central Command (CENTCOM) Area of Operations including Syria. - Reorganized logistics functions and processes for supply distribution and contract oversight that led to increased efficiencies within the area of operations. - Reorganized Counter ISIS Train and Equip Fund (CTEF) operations with partner nations in Iraq to regain accountability of equipment fielded to the Iraqi Army.- Noted as the top logistics battalion by the senior logistics general officer in CENTCOM.

-Responsible for all aspects of training, administration and logistics for a Sustainment Battalion consisting of over 700 personnel.-Prepared Battalion Headquarters for deployment in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, Taji, Iraq.

Training & Operations Officer Oversaw operations for an organization consisting of over 1,400 personnel operating in aviation, engineering and cyber. Manage all elements of training management and force protection coordination.Key Accomplishments:• Served as Lead Officer for development and implementation of the Strategic Plan focused on organizational readiness in support of the Nation and the Commonwealth of Virginia.• Lead change process developer for a deliberate transition of the organization away from Aviation and Engineering to 100% Cyber forces as the first National Guard Cyber Brigade that will span the entire country.

Executive Officer (2013 to 2015)Thoroughly developed headquarters staff to execute role as the only Combat Sustainment Support Battalion in Kuwait. Developed staff personnel in their administrative, intelligence, operations, future plans and logistics roles keeping their focus on the mission of the organization. Oversaw all general support logistics in Kuwait and Iraq to include ground and sea transportation, ammunition supply management and distribution, ground transportation movement control, retrograde supply support activity and contract oversight. Prepared conditions for future expected growth.Key Accomplishments:• Developed staff processes and internal and external relationships that enabled the battalion to flawlessly execute a surge of logistics forces into Kuwait and reopen air and land resupply operations into Iraq. • Planned a deliberate process for the reception, staging and onward movement of forces that flawlessly enabled the battalion’s strength to double in 4 months and became the model the brigade headquarters.

Senior Logistics Manager (2011 to 2013)Oversaw Regional Support Group Logistics program responsible for all supply, property, maintenance, and food service requirements for 900 personnel at eight locations. Managed supply, property accountability, and maintenance through innovative initiatives and collaboration with logistics officers throughout the state.Key Accomplishments:• Discovered over $3M in excess property that was returned to the system for turn-in or redistributed to cover shortages in other organizations.• Implemented an action plan that focused the staff on objectives, priorities, and goals.• Created and executed maintenance program, receiving 100% compliance ratings for all organizations.

Planner / Deputy Support Operations Officer (2009-2011)Planned all aspects of training and mobilization for deployment as the first sustainment battalion to deploy to Regional Command West, Afghanistan. Lead Planner for General Support Logistics supporting mutli-national forces in RC-West. Key Accomplishments:• Developed and oversaw execution of reception, staging and onward movement plan of the battalion headquarters and surge forces of over 500 personnel, over 200 wheeled vehicles and additional unit level military equipment. • Created a plan for expansion of sustainment facilities on the air base. • Developed and synchronized the concept of support for all general support logistics in RC-West.• Served as Lead Developer for the Afghan National Army Partnership Program for Logistics in RC-West.

- Responsible for development of and implementation of the Joint Strategic Plan for the Virginia National Guard.- Primary interface for the Virginia National Guard with the Virginia Department of Emergency Management for planning efforts for response operations in support of disaster and civil unrest operations.- Lead International Affairs Officer responsible for oversight of the State Partnership Program with Tajikistan and development of formal training relationship with Finland.

Training & Operations Officer (2006-2009)Oversaw all areas of training, operations and security. Designed training validation process for units deploying overseas. Managed unit status reporting requirements to achieve short and long-term planning goals. Key Accomplishments:• Published all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Operations orders, leading to the unit receiving certification ahead of schedule.• Developed and administered training programs for over 500 Logistics Soldiers assigned to transportation, maintenance and personnel units.• Activated the first Combat Sustainment Support Battalion and developed the training plan that efficiently converted personnel with a mostly Field Artillery background into personnel qualified in new logistics positions.• Responded to rapidly changing requirements by designing program modifications enhancing effectiveness of training.
