Manage Performance Engineering group• Plan, execute and report on all types of engine and subsystem tests using Design of Experiments and conventional methods• Perform engine control calibrationCreate development plans for new product development projects, that ensure product requirements are metTechnical lead on cross-functional new product development projects• Create, maintain and drive technical team to meet technical project schedule• Provide technical leadership to design and development/testing personnel• Lead design reviews• Ensure cross-functional collaboration with supply chain, assembly, service and training on technical issues.• Ensure technical team’s adherence to New Product Development process requirementsCollaborate with Product Management on creating requirements for new product development projects:• Review market and emissions legislation trends• Plan and conduct Voice of Customer activities• Identify unserved or underserved and developing customer needs
