Dennis Stapleton has been racing professionally since 2000. He entered the AMA Pro scene as a member of the factory Husqvarna team. Several major injuries set back Stapleton’s racing career, but he overcame them and continued his way up the ranks. It was clear that Dennis began to hit his stride in 2005 when he placed inside the top 20 overall at Lakewood, Colorado. Stapleton still competes in various events almost every weekend.Not only a racer, Stapleton worked for American Honda from 1999 to 2005. He was instrumental in helping develop the Honda line of powersports equipment. During his time at Honda, Dennis tested groundbreaking machines and worked hand-in-hand with top industry engineers.Also in 2005, Dennis began working with Motocross Action Magazine as a photo rider. He parlayed his expertise into a position as the Assistant Editor for MXA in 2007. Stapleton developed innumerous relationships with industry professionals, rode a plethora of bikes, tested all of the latest products, and continued to race AMA Nationals and local events. Dennis has developed a close relationship with Motocross Action Magazine and still works for the leading magazine as a test rider.In the past few years, Dennis has traveled to Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Kuwait and the Philippines to race. His love for traveling, coupled with his racing experience, makes him an excellent candidate for competing in events around the world. Dennis hopes to continue traveling overseas as a representative of the U.S. and race professional motocross, Supercross, and Arenacross events.
