• Assisted RN staff with patients in a 30 bed emergency department in downtown Worcester while providing culturally competent care to patients with diverse values, beliefs, and cultures

• Led a three-person team of licensed and unlicensed EMS personnel responsible for responding to medical emergencies on the UNE Campus• Designed and implemented a 4-hour scenario-based training using high fidelity simulation mannequins that sought to identify and correct performance gaps for a group of 10 licensed EMT’s.• Organized a Mock MCI training day for EMT-B's involving local emergency management professionals and community actors in order to improve critical thinking, triaging, and care provided under high stress conditions

• Worked within the Incident Command System to administer COVID-19 vaccines to residents of southern Maine• Supported logistics and operations for "pop-up" vaccination clinics throughout the state with the aim of reducing health disparities in underserved populations.

Conducted intakes on 40+ patients a day which involved comprehensive patient assessments and medical histories. Served as the primary source of patient contact responsible for education, medication administration, and point of care testing

• Worked directly with over 60 patients a day to provide viral testing for COVID-19. Collected and ran samples in-house using PCR and antigen testing machines.
