Plans Officer- 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry, 27th Brigade Combat Team.I worked in the Operations Cell of a Light Infantry Battalion’s staff in both current and future operations which involves planning, resourcing, tracking, and reporting operations and training for the Battalion. I have worked in the same capacity in the 42 Infantry Division’s Tactical Command Post. I have deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as a Combat Advisor for the Afghan Border Police (ABP). Our 12 man Security Force Advisory Team (SFAT) worked daily with the ABP in order to ensure their ability to operate independently.
