I work on product and yield engineering for Connectivity & Security business.This includes new product introduction and qualification of WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, MiFare and secure payments chips to the masses for both iOS and Android.I also develop and implement yield, part escape prevention & screening methods to drive zero defective PPB

Built and led a start-up PE team with more than 50 years of domain experience.Drove yield improvements across all operations and product segments covering wireless, broadband and network infrastructure.I was a panelist at the IEEE DATA workshop for ITC2014 discussing the future state & challenges of silicon IC diagnostics in the fabless ecosystem. Presented a paper on Diagnostics & Big Data at ITC2015.Implemented state-of-the-art machine-learning algorithms with the end goal of codifying capabilites in mining Broadcom's vast vaults of product data.Designed and rolled out an autonomous maverick monitoring system for key customers requiring 'zero DPPM' level of quality.

I took a voluntary 1-year sabbatical to explore diverse areas of interest, including a non-profit social cause. I spoke publicly in outreach programs supporting marriage & family. I continue to volunteer my time to this cause.I designed & built a microscope from scratch; produced wood-based artwork; built rustic furniture; helped high school kids with math.

I had full program leadership in running multiple company-wide cost reduction & customer driven change initiatives, e.g. gold-to-copper wire package conversion, halogen-free 'Green' encapsulating mold compound adoption & corporate Yield Management initiative.

I had complete oversight of strategic & tactical management of silicon foundries:- Identified, evaluated and selected strategic high-tech fab partners- Consolidated fab supplier-base (make vs. buy vs. outsource)- Audited high-tech wafer foundry operations (TS16949, ISO9001)

Sub-micron Silicon IC Product Engineering :- Improved test and process yields- Performed failure analysis & fault isolation

Product Engineering Lead:- Developed Chartered's first 0.13um CMOS copper process

DRAM Device Engineering- analyzed defective devices, improved process and test yields, optimized device testing, developed & ensured seamless integration of fab process modules
