I am a Licensed Professional Engineer in mechanical engineering, with extensive background in the design, engineering, testing, and operations of Waste-to-Energy (WTE) and fossil fueled power plants. I have a demonstrated history of successfully completing both large power projects and smaller plant improvement projects for waste to energy and utility power companies. My experience spans all facets of project development, engineering, design, facility operations support, and operations problem solving. I’ve directed the successful design and construction of WTE and fossil fuel power projects throughout the US, as well as Europe and the Philippines. I’ve also been the go-to guy for pump and rotating equipment selection, failure analysis, and reliability improvement for facility Owner and Operators.As a Manager in Project Engineering for Covanta Energy Corporation, I have:• Established technical requirements for proposals• Developed project design bases, facility layouts, and technical scope • Supervised detailed engineering and design by Architect/Engineering firms • Specified, evaluated and selected critical facility power block and BOP equipment• Developed project engineering and construction contract documents • Interfaced with clients and client consultants• Provided on-site operations support during startup and commissioning• Wrote corporate standards and specifications • Served as in-house rotating equipment specialist.
