Professor Dennis Anderson is a global strategist who has an extensive expertise in complex global issues. He is a highly respected adviser, speaker, and consultant for international organizations, the past engagements including Microsoft, IDG, the World Bank and the United Nations. He has participated and moderated ministerial roundtables and forums in China, Korea, Colombia, and Montenegro, and has also presented to groups of leaders from Belgium, Montenegro, and France (OECD). He has also served as an expert consultant to the United Nations on various projects. With his deep knowledge and broad experience in e-government, ICT, future workforce, AI, sustainable development, leadership, and education, he is widely recognized as an eminent expert in the international community. Anderson has over three decades of distinguished leadership in various sectors, particularly in higher education, civil society, nonprofits, and international organizations as a board member and executive. He recently held the position of Provost and Senior Vice President at St. Francis College. His extensive tenure includes roles as Chair and Professor of Management and IT at the College. Prior to this, Anderson contributed significantly to Pace University, where he served as an Associate Dean, and Professor of Information Systems. Anderson holds a Ph.D., M.Phil., and Ed.M. from Columbia University, an M.S from NYU Courant Institute, and a B.A. from Fordham University. He also completed the executive education at Columbia University’s Business School, MIT, along with leadership executive education at Harvard University's Institute for Management and Leadership in Education and Harvard Kennedy School's Crisis Leadership program. Anderson's influence beyond academia, as evidenced by his impactful presentations at international forums such as the United Nations and the World Bank. His expertise spans a wide array of topics, including e-government, innovation, automation, e-commerce, AI, sustainable development, leadership, entrepreneurship, and education. He has received grants from institutions like the National Science Foundation and the U.S. State Department. In addition, Anderson actively contributed to various advisory boards, NGOs, startups, and conference boards, lending his expertise to shape policy and foster innovation. He has served as a judge for numerous national and international awards and competitions including Microsoft Imagine Cup, CSO50, and CIO100. He was a Senior Fulbright Scholar and Visiting Professor at the Université de Mons-Hainaut, Belgium.
