You can read my full professional biography here.I was born in the south of the Netherlands in 1988 and hold dual nationality (Dutch and German). From an early age, I developed a strong interest in organizing, a skill that I further honed through various educational programs, I earned a bachelor's degree in Leisure Management and a master’s in Business Innovation, with a specialization in Social Constructionism. I apply this expertise in my daily work, consistently translating theory into practical results.I founded several businesses in the leisure sector, ranging from a booking agency to an event organization company that manages dozens of events annually. Organizing comes naturally to me.In 2012, I joined a leading festival organization (Extrema / Solar Weekend) in the Netherlands. Initially, I took on the responsibility of managing the marketing department for a large-scale festival with 30,000 visitors. A few years later, I assumed full project leadership, overseeing multiple successful editions of the event.In 2020, I transitioned to the ticketing industry at Eventix, where I collaborated with the company’s owners to explore opportunities for expanding the business internationally, particularly into Germany. This plan quickly materialized, and since 2020, I have been responsible for the successful launch of the company in the German market, with numerous proven successes to date.I enjoy giving lectures, talks, and presentations, or acting as a moderator at various events and studies related to the leisure industry.Feel free to get in touch.

Scriptie onderzoek KunstbendeAdviesrapport: " Een platform voor succes"De organisatie Kunstbende worstelt al jaren met de vraag; “Hoe kunnen wij meer gebruik maken van de kennis, ervaringen en expertises van onze deelnemers”? Deze vraag is de directe aanleiding voor afstudeer duo Dennis Behlau en Ylaysa Harris om gedurende het afstudeertraject een kwalitatief, langdurig onderzoek op te zetten waaruit uiteindelijk dit adviesrapport met de beantwoording van bovenstaande vraag uit is komen rollen. Het zestien weken durende onderzoek heeft veel informatie opgeleverd. Niet alleen de vijftien geïnterviewde (oud-)deelnemers van Kunstbende, maar ook de informatie vanuit het personeel, vergelijkbare organisaties, theoretische onderbouwing en eigen observatie hebben er voor gezorgd dat de vraag van Kunstbende beantwoord kan worden.Het onderzoek, verricht in opdracht van Kunstbende en Hogeschool Rotterdam, biedt de organisatie een nieuwe kijk op de algemene bedrijfsvoering van Kunstbende. In het kwalitatieve onderzoek, waarbij de communicatieve beleidsprocessen van Kunstbende, de relatiemarketing van Kunstbende en de wensen en behoeften van voormalige deelnemers in kaart gebracht zijn, zijn diverse conclusies en aanbevelingen naar voren gekomen. Het verrichte onderzoek heeft tevens onze kijk op deze organisatie verbeterd en veranderd, wat gevolg heeft gehad op de advisering. Voorafgaand aan de advisering, forumleren wij om deze reden eerst onze visie op het geheel.
