Major Responsibilities:. Provide 24x7 DBA support to Business Systems applications, Oracle databases running for PeopleSoft HCM, Financials and CRM. . Perform database upgrade (10g RAC, 11g GI+ASM, 12c) with server migration to new platforms. . Install new MS SQL and Oracle software, and apply PSU patches. . Create new Oracle and MS SQL databases for development, staging and production. . Perform SQL tuning in Oracle, MS SQL and MySQL. . Install OEM 13c and deploy agents on target hosts.. Perform capacity review and planning on CPU, memory and storage in database servers. . Review schema and table design for new application development in Oracle and MS SQL. . Automate DBA tasks such as refreshing databases and monitoring standby databases. . Write T-SQL scripts for monitoring the job agent and disk space in SQL servers. . Configure ActiveBase for dynamic data masking of sensitive data (such as SSN, salary). . Build standby databases in Oracle and perform production switchover every 6 months. . Migrate physical Oracle and SQL database servers to VMware. . Migrate the PCI compliance Oracle database from on-premises to AWS EC2 environment. . Create Oracle, MySQL and PostgreSQL databases in AWS RDS.Environment and Tools: . 500+ databases, size range from 6 GB to 30 TB. .
