Our work in the community brings care services and information closer to those in need.The Shared Procurement Programme (SPP) was piloted in 2010 by AIC in collaboration with SingHealth Group Procurement Office (GPO), which is now known as ALPS. A shared procurement group comprising of Social Service Agencies-run Community Care partners such as nursing homes, community hospitals and hospices was formed. Following the successful pilot, the programme was formalised in July 2012. The SPP currently has more than 70 members which covers 80% of the residential care providers in Singapore.Achievements1. Collectively achieved cost savings of $16M2. Helped members to curb supply shortages by accessing the national PPE stockpile curing Covid-19.3. During the exit of multiple electricity providers due to the rise of energy prices, onboarded members into the national electricity contract instead of bearing the brunt in the electricity wholesale market.

With 13 years of experience, you can be assured of swift, secure money transfer and currency exchange services.My role as a Management Associate at Ameertech Remittance can be split into 4 components:- OperationsI mainly deal with the day-to-day operations in the back office where I have to send out the remittance transactions to the various banks and agents that we are working with. I also liaise with corporate customers to assist them in their remittance activities.- MarketingEach quarter, we will also hold an event and I am assisting in the planning and execution of all marketing activities, including sourcing for quotes from merchants, and coordinate or production of collaterals. I will need to source for manpower during these events and delegate different responsibilities to ensure that the event runs smoothly.- ComplianceI have also assisted in the MAS audit for financial year 2014/2015 that all financial institutes have to undergo and have successfully passed the audit, allowing the organization to renew their remittance and money changing license in 2016. One of the most important components is also AML (Anti-Money Laundering) where we browse through every transaction being made to ensure that all of them are legal. When a suspicious transaction arises, we will do our due diligence and get customer to fill up a declaration form and send it to the STRO (Suspicious Transaction Reporting Office).- Human ResourceI also liaise with the various newspaper agencies to put up job vacancies in the company and arrange interviews with potential employees.

Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC)I conduct market research data on recent issues happening in Singapore, gathering the feedbacks and the opinions of both Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents in Singapore. This requires me to speak fluently in both English and Mandarin to converse with the diverse population in Singapore. We are using Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) to conduct these interviews and the collected information is sent and stored for my other colleagues to analyze to prepare a report for further reviews.
