-Designed assay to measure and detect cross-contamination of molecular barcodes allowing all whole genome and exome products to be contamination-free.-Designed new “Exome Express” product and carried through to launch enabling a rapid (14 day) turnaround product for cancer research which was later adopted as a clinical product.-Identified variation in exome quality and led team through troubleshooting efforts, identifying root cause and implemented change necessary to raise hybridization specificity to 90%.-Implemented change to library construction reagents resulting in roughly a two-fold decrease in costs and increase in sequencing library diversity.
