I was the lead consultant for a large C#/VB.Net ASP.Net MVC3 sales portal utilizing SQL2008 and mainframe databases, JQuery and LiNQ.

Participated in the analysis, design, development, and testing of several components to help build a new dial-up based information service. Worked primarily in C and C++ on Unix and Windows NT to create an infrastructure for online service applications. For over four years while CompuServe was one of the largest software companies on the planet, I maintained, enhanced, and created the lowest levels of the Information Service. I was responsible for maintaining portable server-side protocol libraries and applications across 5 platforms: NT, BSDI & SVR4 Unix, VAX VMS, and DEC 10. My tools were used by dozens of developers to build hundreds of applications that were run by millions of simultaneous users. During this time, I learned to program with TCP/IP – the basic protocol of the Internet. Created C and C++ programs utilizing the SOCKETS TCP/IP API on both Windows and Unix. I also used PERL extensively to create many different scripts to automate tasks.
