As Security Engineer at CarNext I'm responsible for implementing security solutions, performing security scans and managing security monitoring tools. Working closely together with IT Architects, Developers, Privacy Officers and Information Security Officers I'm dedicated to keep CarNext secure.With the implementation of Prisma Cloud to monitor our AWS and Azure cloud environments, we gained valuable insights in potential risky misconfigurations and achieed protection of our container workloads.I also implemented technologies to be able to set DMARC to reject mode and protect our domain against email spoofing using DKIM and SPF, while minimizing the risk of emails not being delivered. The technologies I work with are: - Palo Alto Panorama, Prisma Access, Prisma Cloud and Cortex XDR- Okta - Microsoft Defender- AWS- Cybersprint

The overall objective is to protect the assets of the LeasePlan Group against all kind of security threats and to mitigate the information security risks with effective and efficient measures and controls. To protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data, I help the business identify the critical information assets, investigate the current protection of it and advise on mitigating measures to reduce residual risks. Being a financial institution LeasePlan also needs to ensure compliancy with regulations. Whenever the business wants to outsource certain processes to cloud providers I will perform a cloud risk assessment.I also advise the business during different projects. With my knowledge from previous jobs as Systems and Network Engineer I'm able to offer several options to deal with these challenges.My ability to think outside the box, see the patterns in chaos and focus during crisis helps me to be a good problem solver.
