About Dennis Giles
A results-driven leader within information technology and business operations. Strong investigative and analytical skills used to direct positive change for business efficiency and growth; applying skills to provide solutions that overcome obstacles and develop long-term success for organizations. With CSA-EMSAR, I founded the IT Department and implemented technology to grow the company for over a decade; managed 5 business acquisitions and mergers. I migrated and developed cloud based information systems to support all aspects of the business; servicing healthcare, laboratory, power, and kiosk industries. For the U.S. Embassy in Iraq I supervised the oversight, auditing, and reporting of over $40 Billion of post-war reconstruction projects throughout Iraq, which lent toward the successful completion of over 50,000 major civil engineering projects. At L3 Communications, in the wake of 9/11, I oversaw and supported operations to ramp-up production of security systems for airports. I designed two new facilities to support manufacturing, warehousing, and all office functions. Within 12 months we increased production of the primary large-scale product from 12 to over 450 units per year, meeting the Congressional order on time and ahead of the competition. For the U.S. Army Medical Command in Europe I designed and implemented their first wide-area network, tying together all U.S. and NATO medical facilities throughout Europe. This of course had countless benefits for productivity and the sharing of information, we also conservatively estimated a savings of at least $1 million per facility each year in record keeping alone.
