• Initiate and lead the development of maintenance policies, strategies, plans and programs.• Ensure compliance to work plans, statutory and legislative requirements• Promote understanding and compliance to 1SAP principles.• Lead the effort to identify problem areas in the plant where there are repeat problems or inefficiencies.• Ensure the plant maintenance is carried out in a manner which achieves operational safety, efficiency, and reliability.• Perform equipment strategy reviews and failure analysis to ensure that all task lists and work instructions remain accurate and relevant• Review and cancel system generated work that is not required• Review/approve 1SAP master data change requests in line with maintenance strategies and content quality requirements• Mentor and coach peers and colleagues across the operational areas to follow the 1SAP process by promoting operating discipline.• Plan and execute plant outages to include scheduling of internal resources, contractors, parts, tools and equipment.• Manage internal projects for improvements to existing and installation of new equipment, including overseeing of contractors during installation phase.
