As Director Flight Standards at CHC, I am accountable to develop and maintain a single global flight standard, ensuring operational consistency across our world wide flight operations and training. My role involves working with international management teams and leading FS teams responsible for the development, implementation, and ownership of flight and training policies and procedures (both worldwide and local), the Operational Oversight Program (incl FDM and LOSA) and our shared training services to achieve the highest standards of safety and operational excellence within all our flight operations including Oil and Gas, SAR, HEMS and new developing activities.I bring a wealth of expertise to the table, with my journey taking me from active flight duties and training experience (AW139, EC155B1, S76), to line management (including EASA Nominated Person roles) to senior management leading international teams while maintaining operational flight status. This diverse exposure has enabled me to hone my ability to navigate complex operational challenges.Active and qualified TRI/E (aircraft and FFS) on the AW139 and proficient on all CAE simulators including a Qualified Helicopter Hoist Operations (HHO) trainer.
