MyDefence is a high-tech company that develops next-generation electronic warfare solutions for military and civilian operations, and is leading the development of anti-drone technology for combatting the threat of unauthorized use of drones. As head of marketing and communications it was my responsibility to define and plan the overall marketing and communication strategies to support the objective of MyDefence. I oversaw the day-to-day operations of the MyDefence marketing team, which followed the trends of the market and liaised with other departments in Denmark and the U.S., in an effort to guide a unified approach that met market demands.

DBI is a leading research institution within the fields of fire and security technology. It was my responsibility as an Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) consultant at the Department of Security and Investigation to lead national and European defence and security projects. With a background in OSINT and deception tactics and years of experience with offensive cyber security, I went on to establish the Social Engineering center at DBI, which conducted offensive cyber operations to test companies' susceptibility to advanced social engineering attacks and provides tailored awareness training. Analyzing data collected from social media, signals, Darknet, meta-data, and more, I conducted social network analyses of companies and personality profiling of targets in cyberspace, in an effort to identify key vulnerabilities in the human factor of cyber security, which in turn was exploited using targeted social engineering attacks. I have authored the book "SAVE - Social Vulnerability & Assessment Framework", published by the Royal Danish Defence College, which focuses specifically on social engineering attacks against critical infrastructure. Additionally, I have been a speaker at +50 national and international events, and taught several classes in Denmark and abroad on the topic of offensive social engineering in cyberspace.

MyDefence Communication is a leading tech company that develops advanced electronic warfare (EW) solutions, including products designed for counter-terrorism, protection of critical infrastructure and defence against improvised explosive devices (IEDs). As the executive adviser my role was to further the interests of MyDefence in meeting with national authorities and provide the CEO with strategic advice on national and European matters.

As a junior policy analyst at the Danish parliament for the Social Democrats, I provided political intelligence for the defence and foreign policy group, and assisted the general management with political and diplomatic issues. I conducted extensive background research and data analyses, and presented the results and memorandums to the management. I often collaborated with co-workers and party representatives on short and long term strategies and projects.

As a political assistant for MP Ole Hækkerup, in his role as the party’s legal policy spokesperson, I gained a solid understanding of and experience with political strategy development and media management. My job was to maintain contact with the special advisers and coordinate the political line, and I was furthermore the coordinator of the weekly legal policy meetings, where I presented my analyses and results, and subsequently contributed to the overall progress and development of the party’s national legal policy. I contributed on matters relating to crime prevention, transborder crime, organized crime and in regard to the national security and intelligence services.

As assistant organiser for the British Council, I assisted with general management and communication tasks. It was my primary responsibility to maintain direct contact with the keynote speakers, whom primarily consisted of scholars from universities abroad. My secondary objective was to assist with coordination and preparation of conferences.

As a scientific research assistant at Roskilde University, I conducted research, analysis ofdata, interviews, translation and proofreading of the final edition of the scientific report on Islamic radicalisation in Denmark, prior to being submitted to an international committee of experts for evaluation. My contributions were accredited in the published book: “House of War: Islamic Radicalisation in Denmark”, January 2010, Copenhagen.
