The Ocean Finance brand was acquired[9] by Think Money Group in 2012. In 2014 the company launched the Ocean Credit Card in conjunction with Capital One

Under an engagement by EMAC Capital (UK), developed & delivered a comprehensive strategic/business plan for de novo launch of a state-of-the-art residential mortgage lending platform across Central and Eastern Europe. Assumed the provisional role of CEO of Illyrian Financial Group (EMAC subsidiary) for the benefit of unilateral relationship development.

Chartered Industrial Savings Bank, with nationwide mortgage banking operations. Served as a member of the Board of Directors of this Virginia Beach based Financial Institution until sale of the firm. Served as Chairman of the Board Audit Committee.

Launched as a US/UK Joint Venture operation in 1996. As CEO, ultimately led a management buy-out in May 2001, backed by Barclays Private Equity. Managed a staff in excess of 250FTEs, an operating budget in excess of £35MM, residential mortgage loan originations across the United Kingdom in excess of £700MM and a securitized servicing portfolio in excess of £1billion. Facilitated double-digit company growth from point of MBO through sale of Company to Lehman Brothers International in December 2003 – delivering a 40% IRR to Barclays Private Equity coupled with sale proceeds representing 2.3 times their original investment. Preferred Mortgages was wholly owned by Lehman Brothers until 2008.

Recruited by the Board of Directors and Senior Creditors to manage the orderly wind down of the US public company, commensurate with the sale of substantially all corporate assets to Citigroup. Charged with maximizing shareholder/creditor value of all remaining assets via liquidation over time or outright sale, enabling repayment of corporate obligations which include warehouse financing and term debt. Assets under management/disposition included a $500Million mortgage loan portfolio and residual rights to the Company’s securitized trusts with aggregate balances in excess of $5Billion. Heavy interface and negotiation with law firms, Wall Street investment banking firms, couple with continued maintenance of shareholder and SEC relations.

Directed the "franchising" of IMC's core nonconforming mortgage business into the international marketplace via de novo, joint venture or strategic alliance, while retaining executive oversight of the same (directly or under management contract). Market entree responsibilities encompass coordination of all facets of each venture within a host country, to include; advance demographic, regulatory and financial/operational feasibility diligence, warehousing, product development/pricing, underwriting,quality control, secondary marketing, servicing, staff development, facilities/site selection, systems support, public/regulatory relations, service culture development, etc. Held the additional offices of President, IMC Mortgage Company, Canada Ltd., and Chief Executive/Managing Director, Preferred Mortgages Ltd. (UK).

Retail Loan Service Center /General Manager Accountable for the "ground floor" start-up and development of a "world class" multibank consumer loan servicing center concurrent with centralization of the independent activities of 55 banking affiliates, spanning across a nine-state marketplace. Responsibilities include executive level staff selection, best practices/technology implementation, seamless business transitioning, introduction of optimum service level and efficiency benchmarks, and center-wide service culture development.

Full charge responsibility for operation and expansion of a state-of-the-art multibank consumer loan origination/servicing center with assets under management approaching $6 billion, annual operating budgets totaling $45 million, and subordinate staff resources exceeding 700 (headcount). Functional area accountabilities included; Direct/Indirect Underwriting, Collections/Recovery, Operations, Human Resources, Training, Financial Control, Project Management, Customer Service and Quality Assurance (Loan Review/Compliance). Parallel accountability for the successful integration/centralization of multiple affiliate bank consumer loan functions into the Center.

Executive oversight & control of all Retail Lending functions, including Credit, Collection, Loan Operations, Risk Management and Bulk Purchases. Simultaneously serviced as SVP of Equimanagement, a nationwide advisory group engaged in banking entity rescue & turn-around.
