Former lawyer turned accidental brand & marketing strategist. I’m a seasoned, tenacious marketing consultant with plenty of battle scars, but still hungry for new challenges. I didn’t choose advertising, it chose me. After a brief stint in law, politics and non-profit, I chanced upon marketing & advertising in late 2014 and never looked back. I was fortunate to win a slew of awards working with clients like GSK, Carlsberg, Danone, Energizer, Kia Motors, Digi, scoring me a Senior Digital Strategist role on a global account in Singapore, which accelerated my career growth even further. At age 28, I stepped into my first management role as Strategy Director in a global advertising agency. As a manager, I strive to build a work culture that’s knowledge-hungry, collaborative and efficient. I’ve always believed that job fulfilment and maximising ones potential is primary, recognition secondary. As a leader, I dream big - rallying people behind a common vision, and using my problem-solving skills and persuasion to help clients adapt to dynamic market forces. As a practitioner, I lean on analytical and critical thinking to translate data into actionable strategy. I’ve continually honed my eye for trends, insights and human truths that can make a positive impact on culture and society.
