Clean Sneaks is a Danish sneaker cleaning brand that produces & sells products & sneaker cleaning services.Joining the startup as a partner in 2016, I started my journey in a college dorm room showers cleaning sneakers, and along the way, I developed and perfected the cleaning service of sneakers through personal cleaning of literally thousands of pairs of sneakers so I could pass this on to the remaining team members. Once again, I was introduced to the meaning of ''hard labor'' but took great pride in delivering exceptional results to our customers. The company was sold to a more prominent player in Denmark.

Streetwear brand for men & women. Designed in Denmark, made in Africa.Starting a startup from total scratch beginning with a team of six and ended up with a team of two. I learned the meaning of blood, sweat & tears that the world of entrepreneurship had to offer in a 360-degree perspective. Starting with jumping on a plane to Africa alone, wondering the dense Nairobi downtown street with a piece of fabric in my hand and a rough idea of what I was looking for, leading to the setup of a complete supply chain between Africa & Denmark to retail and e-commerce sales primarily in Europe. After four years, we ultimately failed due to the failure of implementing appropriate marketing strategies alongside the lack of common founder goals & motives. All in all an expensive but indispensable lesson that I would not be without. Onward and upwards!Main learnings: 1. Build a team with the same dream2.
