*Oversaw construction of expansion offices in Kemper’s headquarters at Chicago’s iconic AON Center. This project encompassed two floors and cost $7.7M. *Worked directly with the C-suite to ascertain their vision for the project and delivered these requirements to the seasoned project team, making sure the completed project exceeded expectations. *The systems coordinated for this project included IT racks, cabinets, equipment rack elevations, vertical and horizontal risers, cable managers, ladder racks and telecom equipment.

*Owner’s Representative for Deutsche Bank to provide oversight for construction of massive data center campus in “Data Center Alley”. This project included a planned 1 million plus square feet of data center space spread across 5 buildings on 60 acres at a cost of approximately $1B.*Worked with the GC to develop project scope. This information was used to build a list of project deliverables for the owner that were referenced in regular progress tracking reports. *Learned the streamlined process for building large, complex construction projects such as data centers. These processes incorporate several standards for certifications such as LEED, Green initiatives, and Renewable energy.

*As Data Center Operations/Facilities Manager, performed 4 years of Project management in Infrastructure projects in addition to standard IT project management. Led a complete conversion of a former bank operations center into a state-of-the-art data center. *Duties included planning/implementation of voice/data infrastructure, such as cabling, power and space for telecommunications rooms and office layout areas including workstations, team rooms and conference rooms. Crafted office structured cabling designs, contractor Scope of Work (SOW) documents, schematic diagrams and specification and network rack elevations. Designed Layout technology rooms (MDF/IDF) for new and retrofit offices. Plan and implement Access Control. *Periodically review and update Communications Cabling Specifications, SOP’s and Emergency Action Plans (EAP).

Oversaw extensive capital improvements that vastly improved the reliability and resilience of the facility. Directly involved in the analysis, procurement, installation, and implementation of new systems that made Tierpoint Jax among the best performing facilities within the portfolio. *Gained significant experience designing, installing, and/or overseeing the implementation of IT Infrastructure and/or Security technology systems. Managed the complete life cycle of moderately-to-highly complex projects from planning to execution. *Served as Project Manager for multiple client driven projects (Estimating, Scope of Work, Bid submittals, Business Development, Sub-contractor Management). Facility Engineer for the largest datacenter in Jacksonville. Responsible for maintaining a 126,000 sqft facility sitting on a 12.5 acre campus. The central plant and infrastructure along with the physical security program support a Tier 4 Datacenter that is home to several high profile clients in the financial, insurance and medical industries.

Field Service for Advanced X-ray equipment used to treat cancer and perform Neurosurgery. Responsible for 8 Linear Accelerators and 2 Gammaknife units in the Southwest region of the U.S. Assisted with installation of a new Linac at a remote clinic in Carlsbad, NM. Duties included installation and testing of Components and Sub-systems after initial rigging and delivery of base unit. These included Multiple Leaf Collimator, Patient Support System, Patient Monitoring System, HT Power System and Magnetron for X-ray generation as well as the Bending Magnets and Optics for steering and focusing the beam. Setup and testing of computer networks and Wi-Fi networks for system controls and data gathering and transmittal of patient information and imaging management. Utilized the following protocols for data and information exchange: PACS, HIS and DICOM.

Oversaw the installation and service management of two installed units during ramp up of newly renovated facility to 300mm wafer manufacturing. The machine I supported was used in the filming of a commercial for Apple's first use of Intel chips in the Mac (2006).

Training and expertise obtained include manufacturing and process development and engineering, systems training on vacuum, pneumatic, PLC's, RF Systems and robotics. Served as Chair of safety committee, recreational committee, led several continuous improvement projects including process and SPC enhancements. Certified Trainer, presented over 80 hours of formal safety and corporate training to a culturally diverse audience.

In charge of the Outback Steakhouse Program. Project Manager leading installation of wood flooring in all new retail locations for Outback Steakhouse. Oversaw completion of 22 units across the Eastern U.S. Typical installation was scheduled and completed in less than 4 days.
