Hello! I’m a college student majoring in Computer Science. With challenging classes and heavy workloads, I have created a strong foundation in Java, Python, HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I created a Computer Science Club at my school, where we introduced students to the basics of Python, HTML, and Java. Despite having bi-weekly meetings, the students have created multiple mini projects and we plan to host a hackathon within the next few months.Outside of the classroom, I’ve tackled projects like creating a game in Python, an art AI, and a Google Extension that helps you study. I've attended to multiple hackathons and won an award at the BU Hacks Highschool hackathon. At this event, my team and I created a website that is basically Yelp for bathrooms. Through my experience in a hackathon, I’ve developed strong problem solving and collaboration skills. As a coding coach at Code Wiz, I spread my passion for coding with kids from 6-17. I learned how significant coding plays in developing their problem solving and critical thinking skills. I helped develop and implement personalized coding curriculums to teach. Even outside of being a coding coach, I love to share my excitement for coding and create safe spaces for everyone.I’m especially interested in the development of artificial intelligence (AI) and web development. Wanting to explore more, I am always looking for the opportunities to learn and collaborate with the tech community!As I go through my education, I look forward to connecting to more like-minded people, mentors, and professionals who share the same passion as me.
