Primary point-of-contact for NEON data publication, responsible for the timely and accurate publication of transitioned L1-4 data to the public-facing Data Portal and API. Worked closely with Science, CI-Dev, and CI-Ops on all aspects of the NEON Data Portal, including troubleshooting and resolution of data processing and content issues. Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of NEON’s web application infrastructure supporting multiple external websites as part of the Cyber Infrastructure team. Develops standards, tools, and related application infrastructure to provide a robust operational environment for content produced and published by team members in the Scientific, Education and Observatory Data Product areas.

Lead instructor and administrator for NEON’s Citizen Science Academy, responsible for course registrations, enrollments, and facilitation in addition to development, configuration, and administration of the online learning environment. Coordinates all aspects of each month-long online professional development course offered to formal and informal educators.Lead technologist for Project Budburst, responsible for developing web pages and applications in support of this continental-scale citizen science campaign, as well as administration of its supporting database infrastructure. Responsible for the technical aspects of web site development, testing, and deployment to support the creation of online educational products and a web portal for NEON scientific data.Implements design revisions to the existing NEON web site and the Project BudBurst web site based on team decisions and direction provided by project leads in the Education team.

Served in a variety of roles, from webmaster and software engineer with the COMET program to educational technologist for Education & Outreach.

Served as division officer in the Training, Navigation, and Deck departments, as well as a qualified Bridge and Combat Information Center officer.
