As the Chief Operating Officer at YouBar, I am responsible for overseeing the production of all of our clients’ brands of protein bars, protein cookies and protein ‘bites.’ I’m proud that our clients rank among the most well-regarded health and nutrition brands in the country and the bars we produce for them are sold nationally in stores like Whole Foods and GNC. We also have a number of smaller entrepreneurial clients, including gym owners, celebrity nutritionists and diet book authors. These clients often sell their bars on Amazon, in local health food stores and direct-to consumer on their websites. Our state-of-the-art bar production facility in Los Angeles, California features industry-leading automation and robotics, and flexibly adapts to the ever-changing regulations around food production. We typically produce up to 150,000 bars per day. But our manufacturing equipment allows us to offer more flexible order quantities than the typical co-packer and so we can handle orders ranging in size from just 5,000 to a million bars. Prior to joining YouBar, I received my BA in economics from University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Outside of business, I am an avid volleyball player, Crossfitter and reader, with a passion for science fiction, science focused non-fiction, biographies, and business books.
