Leads Naval Education and Training Command in Strategic Planning, Analysis, Innovation, Research & Development activities for the Navy’s critical Force Development mission.

A leader on the Navy's innovation initiatives supporting Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) and Manpower, Personnel, Training & Education (MPT&E) Transformation strategic goals. Maintenance and Adminstrative Officer for over 185 personnel. Responsible for overall maintenance production, training requirements, and correspondence in support of flight operations world-wide. Mission commander, strike element lead, and planner of combat sorties. Qualified CDO Underway, CATTC, NP Watch Officer. Security manager and CACO duties. Combat deployment in support of OIF. Decisive leadership resulted in best practices in areas of human capital management, maintenance production, risk management, professional development, communications, team building and administrative & safety programs.

Adviser to the Commander regarding non-kinetic warfighter capabilities. Responsible for training and coordinating with aircrew, shipboard electronic operators, and intelligence personnel in conducting integrated Information Operations for 10 ships and 8 air wing squadrons. Developed innovative technologies and capabilities for transition from battle group to strike group configuration and incorporating international partners into combat operations. Combat deployment in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom. Qualified as both IW and AIR Watch Officer. NATO Secret Control Point Officer.

Provided advanced undergraduate training to prospective Naval Flight Officers, USAF Navigators, and International Military Flight Officers in strike, weapons, and sensor operation skills. Directed complex flight operations and schedules. Primary instructor, standardization, IT(ADP/SSO), Strike Wingleader duties. Mission Commander, FCF, NATOPS Instructor, CDO and CRM Facilitator qualified. Demonstrated strong leadership in areas of professional development, program management, risk management, and team building. Helped the organization achieve the Meritorious Unit Commendation award.

Two combat deployments in support of Operation Southern Watch. Primary aircraft division officer, legal officer, and teams officer duties. Mission Commander, NATOPS instructor, FCF, Pri-fly, WTI Level III Instructor and Level IV qualified. Played a key role in squadron's receipt of Battle E and both the Navy and Meritorious Unit Commendations.

Presides over 200 Navy, Marine Corps and Civilian instructors engaged in "A" School training for approximately 5,000 Sailors, Marines, and International students annually. The Avionics School is the largest organization under the NATTC Command. Avionics provides technical training for aviation electronics technician (intermediate), aviation electronics technician (organizational), aviation electrician's mate and five aircrew ratings for all Naval Air Forces and Marine Aviation platforms. Specific leadership skills in professional development, shaping an ethical business culture, effective communications, and community outreach. Organization achieved Project Good Neighbor Flagship and MPT&E Retention Excellence awards for both FY13 and FY14.

Special adviser to the CJTF-HOA Commander regarding compliance/efficiency, morale/discipline, training, and readiness to a task force composed of over 1900 Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and DOD Civilians. The Inspector General Office conducts this task throughout East Africa utilizing four main functions: assistance, inspections, investigations and teach & training. Specialized organizational leadership skills in collaborative problem solving, leveraging relationships, risk management and process improvement. Qualified manager's internal control program administrator. Critical intelligence oversight functions. One year IA in support of OEF.

Adviser to the Commander on protection and security matters in support of Allied and Coalition defense operations in North/Central Europe and International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan. Provides strategic direction and then develops supporting requirements, policy, and concepts. Specific experience in multinational and interagency operations, building consensus, strategic planning, comprehensive risk management, acquisition strategies, market research, process improvement, and project management. Senior member of Joint Synchronization and Execution Branch and Crisis Response Coordination Board. Received the Commander's Commendation for humanitarian relief efforts in Pakistan, and major on-site FP assessments and projects at Mazar-e-Sharif, HQ ISAF, Kandahar, and Kabul International Airport.
