• Concept development and project design: Assist the LDF regional agent and LDC Kenya Country Head with developing and preparing project proposals in East Africa (with Kenya being a priority).
• Project coordination: Work closely with the LDF regional agent and LDF project managers and assist in the coordination of existing projects of LDF in East Africa (Ethiopia & Uganda) and,more broadly, in Africa..
• Project follow-up and monitoring: Participate in quarterly calls (SteerCos). Assist in preparing and completing project documents, templates for LDF Board and Advisory Committee meetings, and other deliverables.

• Designing project M&E frameworks, including data collection tools, platforms, and monitoring and evaluation plans.
• Provide monitoring and evaluating expertise and support to the water utilities and county government on their organizational development functions such as strategic planning, corporate governance, sector performance.
• Continuous data collection, analysis, and reporting of the water market in specific utility areas, willingness, and ability to pay for WATSAN services. Qualitative and quantitative market assessment and data analysis.
• Monitoring and evaluating climate change and water nexus in water utility zones.
• Share learning on why some sections of the population are not connected to service and the circumstances (e.g., connection policy, tariff, service levels, knowledge, awareness, responsiveness), which will encourage.

• Undertake qualitative and quantitative market assessments in the utility areas;
• In consultation with the team, develop and finalize survey questionnaires, and oversee the recruitment of enumerators, data collection, and data entry;
• Ensure quality assurance in data collection – data accuracy, overall data collection integrity,and sex-disaggregated data.
• Conduct focus group discussions and interviews with utility management and staff, community-based organizations, self-help groups, and institutions;

• Supported the development of Community Strategic Ward Water sanitation and hygiene Plans for seven wards in Kajiado County.
• Supported communities in prioritizing their water, sanitation and hygiene need through open forums, community mapping of water, sanitation and hygiene resources
• Developed digital maps geared towards an evidence-based approach to development.
• Supported WASH enterprises in monitoring and evaluating their progress
