I have been appointed to represent Vietnam as the 2024 Mayor’s Student Ambassador by Study Gold Coast. It was an honor to receive this designation from the Mayor of the Gold Coast during the Civic Ceremony at the City of Gold Coast’s Council Chambers.In collaboration with 22 talented students from 13 different countries, our mission is to showcase the incredible experiences offered by the program, celebrate our vibrant student life, and promote the positive energy of our educational journey and lifestyle on the Gold Coast.My journey on the Gold Coast began in July 2022, based on a recommendation from my family. It marked my first experience traveling and studying abroad, and I am deeply grateful for the support of teachers, mentors, and friends who have helped me grow into a better version of myself every day. With this opportunity, I aim to pay it forward by sharing my experiences through social media and supporting my peers.

I had the honor of being awarded a $1,800 scholarship by the Office of Health Dean Research, Griffith University to contribute to the research project titled "Investigating the effect of African Ringhals cobra venom on the coagulation system". Throughout this experience, I significantly enhanced my proficiency in managing samples during the pre-analytical process, which included whole blood and plasma aliquoting, loading samples onto analyzers, as well as storage and retrieval tasks.

As the Team Leader for the Event Managers and Event Assistants at Griffith Mates' International Night, I was responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of the event. My role involved:• Developing and implementing the event timeline, coordinating logistics, and managing resources.• Collaborating with various stakeholders, including sponsors, student clubs, multicultural societies, and local community performers.• Facilitating team meetings, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress to meet deadlines.• Leading a team of 25 event managers and assistants to ensure the smooth running of the event.• Problem-solving and making quick decisions to address any issues that arose during the event.This experience was invaluable for honing my leadership skills, enhancing my ability to manage large-scale events, and improving my time management and resilience. I'm proud to have contributed to an event that fostered a dynamic and harmonious multicultural environment at Griffith University.
