Built and led global cross-functional team to deliver industry-leading automated solution giving suppliers direct, secure download access to bills of material and technical part definition associated with RFQs, POs, and Qualifications, and controlled upload capability for documents they are required to submit, all within the PLM platform. Projected to deliver over $5mm annual savings in the core turbine and generator business, driven by internal productivity, faster NPI cycle time, lower cost of quality and improved controllership, this acclaimed solution, dubbed "SDX" (for "Supplier Document Exchange"), is now staged for replication on other GE PLM platforms.
