Administered a community-based participatory research study, "Addressing Economic Marginalization to Improve HIV Prevention and Care Outcomes Among Gender Minorities in the U.S." Future phases of the study include the development and pilot testing of an economic empowerment and HIV intervention(PI: Paine). Co-coordinated a pilot study examining the multilevel factors that drive medical mistrust among transgender women and their association with transgender women’s willingness to engage with long-acting injectable HIV therapy (PIs: Paine & Vaughn).

Administered sexual health surveys to New York City populations disproportionately affected by HIV. This research was conducted as part of ongoing field-based program evaluations and high-risk behavioral surveillance. The research & evaluation unit analyzed the collected data semi-annually to determine trends in key sexual risk behaviors, HIV testing patterns, PrEP use, and awareness of HIV prevention social marketing campaigns.

Be Responsible!) in New York City public schools, local community-based organizations, and the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center. Collaborated with MAPSCorps and the New York City Department of Youth and Community Development in coordinating a participatory asset mapping research internship for local high school and college students.Worked with the Health Education team in managing the S.P.E.E.K. Collaborated with the research team in investigating the HIV risk behaviors and social and sexual networks of emerging adult gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (YMSM). The goal of the study was to apply, test, and further develop a theory of syndemic production to understand the development of both maladaptive and adaptive behavioral outcomes among YMSM (Project 18, PI: Halkitis).
