Starting as the sole buyer for Resato Hydrogen Technology. Building the procurement department from the ground up during the scale-up phase in a massively growing business. This entails activities such as improving the w.o.w. with a new ERP system, creating contracts including contract management, setting up commodities, moving from project- to production oriented buying, setting up change management in good collaboration with QA, setting up a procurement team, setting up a cash management tool, working in (new business) project teams, initiating and running improvement projects, out- and resourcing, setting up a purchasing strategy and all that needs to be done to have procurement ready for the next step.

Responsible for all purchasing activities for BD Kiestra with a team of 5 buyers and a production planner in close collaboration with the Global Procurement organisation of BD. Next to leading the department also working as an interim Project Buyer for new product development and being a Core Team member.

• Responsible for several System suppliers with an approximate spend of 5M Euro;• Main driver on the department for overall supplier management;• Project lead for cost down projects;• Project buyer for Core Team projects (member of Core Team);• Heavily involved in Change Management;• Analyst for the department providing management data such as spend analyses;• Project member for SAP conversion;• Support for commodity buyers.

• Responsible for the tactical and strategic purchasing of the commodities Sheet Metal and Bar, Sheet Metal Parts, Turned and Machined parts, Aluminium Die Casted Parts and all Plastic parts ;• Until recently the commodity buyer was responsible for the purchasing within all Neopost Group plants (The Netherlands, France, England, Asia). Now this has changed to local and multi-site buyers;• Partially responsible and coordinator within international transfer projects;• Project buyer within multifunctional teams for new Neopost products;• Ongoing improvement of contract management within the department including setting up Supply Level Agreements;• Key User for SAP, SIPM (Ariba) and Windchill within the purchasing department in Drachten;• Besides being a buyer I am also one of the two confidential advisors at Neopost.
