I graduated from Drexel University with my B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and a Minor in International Economics. Using my technical background and ability to effectively communicate with others, I took on a role at United Biologics that allowed me to utilize those skills in order to generate sales and work alongside fellow engineers and physicians to customize our anatomical models to suit their medical devices/procedures. After some time, I moved into a new role with a virtual reality software company called Surgical Theater, where I worked with surgeons on a daily basis for pre-operative planning, intra-operative navigation, and patient consultation. Within this company, I had taken on new responsibilities in product management, led the development of new innovative projects directly with our CEO, and ran the strategic sales operation in the west coast.Currently I am the Global Product Strategy Manager for Spine Surgery at BK Medical, now under the GE Healthcare brand. By collaborating with multi-disciplinary departments, our team works to construct the business strategy for how enter the spine market globally effectively as well develop new products that cater to our customer base. The day to day role involves both upstream and downstream marketing projects as well leading educational opportunities for our technology both internally and externally.
