Initially recruited to build out the external manager platform for the General Electric. After the acquisition and integration of the business I was named head of investment manager research and charged with rebuilding the team utilizing an onshore / offshore model while sitting on the investment committee responsible for all investment decisions across the 100+ person GFS team and serving as chairperson of the investment manager selection committee responsible for investment strategies across the entire organization of State Street Global Advisors. Key Responsibilities and Contributions:• Direct management responsibility for $130 billion in AUM across all Global Fiduciary Services (OCIO) clients and on the multi-managed mutual funds including SIVIX. The outcome of my leadership on the team has been substantially increasing the percentage of investment managers beating their benchmark. • Negotiate fees and contracts for new investment managers and ongoing fee monitoring and negotiation for existing relationships where possible to directly benefit clients and ensure we are consistently getting the best fees on our investments.• Presenting to senior leadership of Fortune 500 corporations and their boards to win OCIO mandates and ongoing to report out investment performance and asset allocation recommendations.• Researching and underwriting investment strategies for use in discretionary portfolios and recommending strategies to non-discretionary clients. I have covered all asset classes throughout the course of my career and operated as a generalist at GE. Now I focus on the more complicated structures to underwrite and challenge the investment thesis brought by my team to ensure a thorough underwriting process has taken place.• Engaged across several bank-wide initiatives including serving as part of the Diversity & Inclusion Council focusing on employee retention and as a member of the Employee Engagement Committee.
