Respresenting GE Healthcare as a Sales Specialist in the field of Molecular Imaging.Visiting and advising nuclear medicine professionals in the usage of our molecular imaging portfolio and informing them about new developments regarding: gamma cameras, Digital SPECT/CT (CZT), conventional SPECT/CT, Cardiac Dedicated SPECT (CZT), Molecular Breast Imaging (CZT), Digital PET/CT (SiPM), PET/CT, PET/CT+MR, Cyclotrons, PET Tracer Synthesizer Units and GMP laboratories.• I have successfully introduced and sold twelve new hardware products into the Dutch speaking markets, including digital CZT gamma cameras and digital PET scanners, which opened a new frontier in Molecular Imaging scanning techniques and possibilities.• I have expanded the GE PET/CT scanner IB in the Netherlands and Flanders. Securing new IB in 3 different University Hospitals in Belgium.• Winning and installing the first PETtrace cyclotron in the Benelux region in a competition dominated region.

As a Senior PET/CT Technologist, I operated a high-end (mobile) PET/CT scanner in the Netherlands, Estonia, Finland, Sweden and the United Kingdom, to create reliable and clinically excellent diagnostic images.• Support more than 30 different hospitals introducing them to PET diagnostics and educate local staff on patient handling and radiation hygienics/safety measurements.• Maintaining PET/CT image quality by performing daily quality control checks of the scanner equipment as well as checking computer and network operations with the local hospital. If needed perform small repairs or interventional actions in order to operate within the system specifications.• Use PET/CT expertise and provide answers to customers and prospective customers during European congresses.

As a Nuclear Medicine Technician, I had the responsibility of preparing ionizing pharmaceuticals in a hot lab environment and executing medical exams on patients utilizing state of the art medical scanners, such as gamma cameras and PET systems. • Start-up of the first PET-scanner in the Netherlands outside of University Hospital.As the Radiation Safety Officer, I was responsible for maintaining and upholding laws and regulations regarding all aspects of ionizing radiation. As well as teaching about radiation safety procedures to colleagues of the Nuclear Medicine department.• Successfully created the Nuclear Medicine part of the Nuclear Energy Act (Kernenergiewet) permit of St. Antonius Hospital.• Setup and adapted regulatory and registration documents regarding radiation safety for the department.• Creation of a “Radiation Safety Spill Kit” ready to be used during contamination accidents in order to clean and report incidents.
