Lead the organizational processes and teams relative to information and technology innovation. Member of the executive leadership team determining and managing strategy and operational framework for the global enterprise. Manage all IT functions and teams supporting all line of business processes and systems, as well as basic IT infrastructure. Provide process evaluation and engineering and promote innovation and forward thinking development of those processes. Manage external SAAS and IAAS efforts and relationships as an integrated part of IT framework. Lead process to determine need for and selection of a new Microsoft Dynamics ERP platform and implementation partner. Led process of design and implementation of completely new server and back end infrastructure as well as a migration of major resources to the cloud. Resulted in 75% reduction in data center hardware and increased visibility into network and client assets.

Promoted to Vice President of Operations providing management of MAP International's Global Essential Medicines and Supplies (GEMS) Team in addition to overseeing MAP's Information Technology efforts as Chief Information Officer. Member of Executive Senior Management team responsible for global strategic and operational plan execution. Responsible for Leadership in information, process and systems strategy. Member of six person Senior Management Team responsible for determining and facilitating strategic plans, processes and vision, as well as provide engineering, architecture, and management for IT functions across global operations in 9 countries. Led and organizational wide global ERP project implementation using Aggresso Business World from Unit 4 software

Returned to work with MAP to work on three significant initiatives:- A staff reorganization- Engineer data center and technology components of a new facility- Determine need and engineer processes for a new global ERP systemWas elevated to CIO position and Senior Management Team after a significant reorganization.

As an independent consultant for 6 years, I provided IT services, oversight and management for various small and medium sized businesses who did not have internal IT expertise. Was also heavily involved at this time with Microsoft as an MVP, and developing a mobile devices web site (GottaBeMobile.com). My consulting services ranged from software and hardware acquisition and deployment, to full multi-office application and network / WAN implementation projects. Chose to shut down this practice when invited to return to MAP International for some significant IT initiatives.

Worked with a partner to create a new web site entity called GottaBeMobile.com. We worked together to develop a community where things related to mobile technologies could be discussed, news disseminated, etc. Handled most of the marketing and vendor relationship needs of the site. The site was experiencing well over a million hits a month, and ranked very highly with Microsoft and other mobile device companies who were advertising vendors. Sold out to a partner in order to focus on independent consulting business and pursue other opportunities.

Participated in many activities relative to Microsoft's early Tablet PC product processes, and was rewarded by Microsoft as an MVP (Most Valued Professional). I was a member of the MVP program for 6 years, and made numerous trips to the Microsoft campus in Redmond to provide feedback to Microsoft developers on thoughts and ideas, represented Microsoft at the Consumer Electronics show, judged developer contests and did usability studies. Also wrote content for Microsoft's Expert Zone portion of their web site on Tablet PC topics. I left the MVP program in order to focus on my new role at MAP International.

Managed all aspects of IT functions and staff, provided network engineering, etc. Led development efforts, global roll outs of email systems and applications, created first organizational WAN between three countries.Left MAP after 16 years to pursue my interests in professional consulting.
