Back in 1996, I was one the founders of Wavecrest Computing, a recognized leader in Web-access security and Web-usage forensics solutions. Our scalable filtering and forensic reporting analysis products are designed to enable organizations to successfully address Internet abuse, legal liability, workforce productivity, and Web security threats. Wavecrest Computing’s client list includes well-known corporations such as Edward Jones, General Electric, Lockheed Martin, Blue Cross Blue Shield, MillerCoors, Rolex, Siemens, and others. I serve as President, a position that lets me combine human capital management, business operations and engineering know-how into the development, marketing, deployment and use of our products. On a daily basis I oversee all aspects of the company. This includes the development of marketing strategy, implementation of advertising campaigns, development and management of the sales force, and management of reseller and other business partner relationships. I also work closely with the Company’s product development groups to ensure that their efforts are responsive to the needs and desires of the businesses and other organizations that we serve. Before launching Wavecrest Computing, I was the manager of the software development department at Engineering and Technical Services (ETS), in Melbourne, Florida.
