• Worked on an existing ASP.NET Web application that used a VB.NET code behind, JQuery, AJAX calls and Telerik controls. The purpose of this application was to provide libraries with an in depth way to schedule and maintain events.• Created and maintained an ASP.NET MVC 2 web application with a VB.NET code behind, utilizing JQuery and AJAX. This product would allow a library to showcase its children’s books. The administrative side provided a Netflix-like interface that showed users what the top viewed books were. I used Ninject to initiate a level of Dependency Injection into this application.• Developed Unit Tests using the NUnit framework and Moq to test the methods in the Controller and ensure the application would be easier to maintain.• Created and maintained several LINQ queries to form the Model, which reduced the total development time on the Data Access portion of the application.• Helped create much of the backend for a mobile application for reserving timeslots on rooms. This included web services which accepted passed in JSON objects, and returned objects based on logic.• Assisted in much of the conceptual design for a refactoring of all of our products, including a single sign-in option and combining our product administration into one project.• Constantly communicated with Support, Testing, Management, and other developers to fine tune our software, maintain standards, and ensure everyone’s code was readable and accessible to everyone else. This included daily stand-up meetings, and bi-weekly iteration meetings. Evanced Solutions is an Agile shop, so my assignment could change at the drop of a hat.

• Converted several ASP.NET pages with a VB.NET code-behind into event-driven Silverlight pages with a C# code-behind.• Created several web services to access a SQL Server database. These web services were used by several versions of the software, which included both ASP.NET and Silverlight pages.• Added and rewrote several SQL Server Stored Procedures, mainly to be accessed by the above mentioned web services.• Communicated with support, testing, and other developers to gather specific requirements for specific areas of software functionality.• Completely rewrote an administrator tool to be more mobile-friendly and to better match an earlier, non-web-based version of the tool.

• Developed Crystal Reports based on information stored in a SQL Server Database.• Created views in a SQL Server Database in order to aid in the development of reports.• Aided in gathering requirements from customers to ensure that the reports had the exact information and layout that was desired.

• Developed and maintained the scripts for various automated tests using Test Complete, to test the various aspects of Interactive Intelligence's software, reporting bugs when found. I personally developed several tests on both application and web interfaces that saved dozens of man hours each successive build.• Worked with developers to fix bugs, using my knowledge of the software to aid them.• Communicated and worked as a member of a scripting team using Perforce for source control. • Used, maintained, and assisted in developing a vast library of automation code in order to further ease the testing process.
