Through Project Annadanam, the foundation’s free lunch program, enabled the distribution of 130,000 meals to the needy in the streets of Hyderabad. Helped support 300 slum dwelling families and 2,362 beneficiaries across 44 orphanages/destitute homes during the COVID-19 pandemic by distributing essentials and food items to slumdwellers, destitute homes and orphanages. Facilitated the establishment of the organisation including incorporation, obtaining requisite licenses and permissions, strategic planning, budgeting, and cost and revenue projections. Drove fundraising efforts as well as liaison with funders, partner organisations, and other stakeholders. Responsible for day-to-day operational supervision and monitoring.

Managed a ten member team of consultants specialised in payments and distribution of digital financial services. Cultivated and deepened relationships with a variety of stakeholders including international aid organisations, donors and clients. Contributed to business development efforts by identifying and developing opportunities for new business. Trainer on “Digital Financial Services for MFIs” at Boulder Institute of Microfinance organised at Turin, Italy (2014 & 2015). Led teams which developed training content on “Digital Financial Services for MFIs” and “Product Development Accelerator”; courses on digital financial services. Conducted strategic assessments and facilitated operational implementation of digital financial services in microfinance institutions across India, Bangladesh, and Ethiopia. Facilitated implementation of Digital Financial Services distribution networks in India, Malawi, Nepal, and Kenya.

Managed teams conducting sector level as well as client specific qualitative market research across India, Bangladesh and the Philippines on aspects of financial inclusion including microfinance and digital financial services.
