I am a researcher in the field of Foam Fractionation and Foam Technology. Currently I am working as a Senior Lecturer at Department of Chemical Engineering, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, Indonesia after I have finished my Post Doctoral research on modelling liquid foam flow at Department of Mathematics, Aberystwyth University, United Kingdom. I received my PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Manchester, United Kingdom and my MEgSc degree in Chemical Engineering from Monash University Australia. I have interests in the research on mas transfer and fluid dynamics in thin liquid films such as obtained in foam films. I am also interested in mathematical modelling of multiphase fluid systems such as in foams and emulsions. I have excellent skills in using computer applications for mathematical modelling of such systems. I use software such as MATLAB and Scilab regularly for my work on modelling the mass transport and liquid flow of foam systems. Besides that, I am well experienced in using Surface Evolver, a software dedicated for modelling foam systems, also good at doing modification of the package by adding my own code to meet particular simulation purposes. My latest project includes simulation of foam flow in microfluidic channels with complex geometries for application such as in foam improved oil recovery and invasive treatment of varicose vein. Besides that I am also working on simulation design of foam fractionation column for separation of proteins from waste water in Indonesian tofu industries.
