In June 2003, I was promoted to General Sales Manager of News Radio 1140 WRVA, and the Virginia News Network here in Richmond, Virginia. I had been an Account Executive with WRXL/102.1-The X. I celebrated my five year anniversary as GSM of WRVA in June 2008! As the GSM of WRVA, and VNN, I was able to increase revenues every year between 2004, and 2008 from a low of 2.9% in 2005, to a high of 7.1% in 2007 for WRVA, and increase revenues every year between 2004, and 2008 (except 2007) from a low of 2.2%, to a high of 8.3% in 2005 for VNN! I enjoyed helping local business owners grow their revenue, and sell their products to our consumers!

As the Co-Chair for the RMA Marketing Expo trade show, I worked with my fellow collegues on brainstorming ideas, and providing creative ideas to try, and drive traffic to this yearly event. Also, I helped disseminate the creative information to many media outlets in and around the Richmond area to promote this event. I have co-chaired this particular committee for three years, and look forward to working with the RMA in the future!

I was the General Sales Manager of Classic Country 1420 WKCW in Warrenton, Virginia in 1997, and then the General Manager in 1998, and 1999. As the General Manager of WKCW, I was able to increase revenues 7.1% in 1998, and 21.0% 1999, and I was very proud of the job I was able to accomplish in those short two years at WKCW. A position opened up as an Account Executive with WRXL/XL102 in Richmond, Virginia, and I started with them on December 27th, 1999.

I was promoted to General Sales Manager of WKCW Radio in early January 1997, and held that position through December of 1997. At the end of 1997, I was promoted to General Manager/General Sales Manager of WKCW Radio which was the postition I held through the end of December 1999.
