Denny Lanfear, a veteran biotech executive, has significantly influenced the biotech landscape through his tenure with some of the industry's largest companies. His proficiency and experience extend across a variety of therapeutic areas, having worked extensively, both scientifically and commercially, across metabolic disease, ophthalmology, and immuno-oncology. From 2019 and 2020, he served as Acting Chief Commercial Officer at Coherus, orchestrating the launch of UDENYCA and delivering a record-breaking $832 million in sales those two years. UDENYCA was named industry best in 2019, earning the Diana Award from major distributors in 2020, and still stands as the most successful biosimilar launch of all time. Additionally, he led Coherus to be recognized as one of the fastest-growing technology companies in the nation by Deloitte (2021) and Financial Times (2022).
