I'm a globally experienced Senior IT Manager, with great technical ability in a range of IT disciplines., I love working with IT and after 15 years experience, still get a buzz from finding and using technology to make things work better.I find having a broad skill set, from On-Prem system to Cloud, and Servers to security allows me to see the complete picture when it comes to designing and implementing technical solutions. It also allows me to manage technical teams so I don't get lost in the details. Also important to me though, is to provide friendly, transparent support to all my customers, with effective non-jargon communication.I'm currently heading up the devops team at a rapidly growing Fintech, managing the infrastructure across the core application platforms.. Managing a remote team of Devops staff provides a great source of enjoyment with incredibly varied work and working with people from many different cultures and backgrounds. It also provides the opportunity to develop skills in key cloud infrastructure technologies and platforms such as GCP, AWS and Terraform.Having lead many acquisition and migration projects, I have developed vast technical experience in this area, along with the communication skills required to engage with new business users. Strong customer focus and always working hard to ensure customers receive an efficient and positive experience of IT.
