I learned a great deal during my time there and gained valuable experience in customer service, teamwork, and time management.​As a cashier, I was responsible for handling transactions with customers and ensuring that their experience at the checkout was as smooth and efficient as possible. I quickly learned how to scan items quickly and accurately while also providing excellent customer service by engaging in friendly conversation and addressing any concerns they may have had.​In addition to my role as a cashier, I also worked as a loader, helping customers load their purchases into their vehicles. This required me to be physically fit and able to lift heavy items, but also to be friendly and courteous to customers who may have needed assistance with their purchases.My customer service skills were also put to the test as I interacted with customers throughout the store, helping them find items they were looking for, answering questions, and providing general assistance. I also helped out in the warehouse, where I was responsible for stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and ensuring that items were easy to find and accessible to customers.​Overall, my experience as a seasonal associate at Lowe's Canada was incredibly valuable. I gained a wide range of skills that will serve me well in any future job, including customer service, teamwork, time management, and attention to detail. It was also a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and learn how to work effectively under pressure.​While my time at Lowe's Canada was focused on seasonal work, I still gained a sense of fulfillment by helping customers and being part of a team. It reinforced my passion for providing excellent service to others and showed me the importance of teamwork and collaboration in achieving shared goals.
