Katie Embick is Golf Fit Teaching Professional. She has been playing competitive golf since the age of 11, when she won her first tournament. In high school, Katie was given All-county Golf Honors for Broward County, Florida all four years. She attended Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on a golf scholarship, and was on the Big South Conference Honor Roll from 1999-2001. After college, Katie attended the Futures Golf Tour qualifying school in 2002 and 2003, gaining playing rights both years, before entering the PGA of America and focusing her career on instruction. She was the Assistant Director of Instruction at Cattail Creek Country Club in Glenwood, Maryland, where she specialized in mentoring junior golfers, then moved on to The Hamlet Country Club in Delray Beach, Florida where she was the First Assistant. Kaites experience as a player and instructor allows her to evaluate and improve all areas of the student’s game, whether it be the mechanics, course management or psychology. She is dedicated to improving golfer’s ability to have fun and enjoy the game.
