He started growing his single family portfolio through value-add, cash-out refis, seller financing, lease-to-own and 1031 exchange strategies, and quickly learned about the passive investment strategy into apartment buildings.Today, Denver is a Managing Principal at JT Capital, a real estate private equity firm that owns and operates high quality multifamily investments. He focuses on underwriting, capital markets, fund origination and creative financing to create multiple passive investment streams for his investors. Prior to JT Capital, Denver had over 10 years of global finance & technology experience at both multinational organizations and start ups. He has a proven track record of 8 years in investment banking at Credit Suisse of driving growth and delivering results in high-pressure environments. During his time there, he raised $4Bn+ in debt capital for companies in emerging markets from US institutional investors. He is passionate about driving innovation in fintech & property technology and has 2 years of early-stage fintech experience. He is adept at creative problem solving, effective communication, and fostering a positive team culture.As an avid traveler and hiker, Denver’s adventurous spirit has taken him all over the world. He’s climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and Machu Picchu in Peru, road-tripped across Europe and is currently, probably, on a hiking trail with his wife in Austin, TX.
