The main aim of “GreenCity” project is to teach people in a playful and challenging way to have an eco-friendly lifestyle. A user can view on the map places that have some eco-initiatives or suggest discounts for being environmentally aware (for instance, coffee shops that give a discount if a customer comes with their own cup). А user can start doing an environment-friendly habit and track their progress with a habit tracker.

We want every customer to feel convenience and satisfaction with each purchase, for our store to become a place they return to again and again. Our goal is not just to sell electronics. We want to become a symbol of reliability and quality, a place where customers find not only products but also emotional fulfillment and confidence in their choices. We believe that through our work, people will gain access to innovative technology that will make their everyday lives more comfortable and exciting.

I completed a internship at SoftServe working on social GreenCity poject in a team of 8 people. I learned a lot from this internship and gained invaluable experience in web development, teamwork, and problem-solving. Tech-wise, I got more practical experience with Java frameworks and had a bit of a party with PostgreSQL, Liquibase, Checkstyle, and Sonar.
