Prepare correspondence for those households using Microsoft Office tools.•Targeted resident engagement – Where appropriate, visiting households who continue to contaminate despite correspondence being sent out. Recording engagement information.

Short-term position; overall responsibility for production and maintenance of the Early Years Professional Status module: “EK311 - Research with children and young people”.

Responsible for a team of 21 staff including: 1 Helpdesk Administrator, 5 Helpdesk Supervisors and 15 Helpdesk Advisors. The role was complex and involved providing support to the OU’s 200,000 students and 7,500 Associate Lecturers (ALs). The support revolved around installation and configuration of the OU’s course software normally sent to students and ALs. Support was also provided for accessing the course websites and electronic conferencing facilities. The Helpdesk normally opened 7 days a week from 9:00am to 10:30pm. Applying Performance and Time Management techniques, liaison with Faculties, Production teams and Module teams from around the OU formed part of my role as well. Management of staff and staffing levels on the Helpdesk remained a major part of my day to day activities. During this period I steered the Helpdesk through the successful implementation and operational use of the OU’s CRM(Siebel) system.
