I've been on all sides of the media and entertainment industry since my early years. I founded a high-school underground newspaper (The Roach). In college, I ran our campus punk rock radio station (WRGW) and co-founded a satellite syndicated radio company (North American Network) with some friends.I did temp work for Washington DC K Street consulting companies, interviewed people about satellite backhaul, Caribbean skilled workers, and what kinds of refrigerators they're buying in Boise. And I worked in a video store, back when they were new.Next, a total reversal: Media Planner at a big New York ad agency, crunching numbers for Proctor & Gamble and General Foods. It was a great education, and I still know how to calculate a GRP with a pencil. Since then, I've worked in strategy and qualitative research for a long list of famous ad agencies and global brands, finding the sweet spots in a market, and supporting creativity and innovation.I've augmented my business experiences with deep dives into life coaching and improvisation.
