About Denzil Skinner

I teamed up with Amanda to establish Denzil Skinner & Partners in 2012. She has wonderful design skills learnt from attending the best UK jewellery college, Central St Martins then running a bespoke jewellery business in London during 1990s. Meanwhile, I gained experience spending over 20 years at Scotland's leading jewellers, Hamilton & Inches.Whilst there I was instrumental in advancing the business to become one of the UK's leading silversmiths, creating pieces such as the Six Nations Triple Crown Trophy, a crown for the Lord Lyon, King of Arms and candelabra which form part of the collections used at No 10 Downing Street and for the Bute House collection in Edinburgh.Together, Amanda and I combine our experience to provide a very personal, considered and discreet service in the redesigning of old unworn jewellery, sourcing of gems to create from new and designing of sporting, military and institutional silverware. As a matter of principle predominately we use UK based jewellery and silver-smithing workshops.
