As the Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for the Global Fund, I managed a Ksh. 0.5 billion grant across 19 sub-grantees, ensuring compliance with program standards and driving impactful outcomes in HIV prevention, care, and treatment. I developed and implemented M&E tools for effective grant management, coordinated data management, and conducted Routine Data Quality Audits (RDQA) to verify and enhance program results.My role involved close collaboration with sub-grantees and Health Records Information Officers (HRIOs) to maintain data integrity and accuracy, supporting data management systems like the District Health Information System (DHIS). I also contributed to the development of national M&E policies and procedures, including the Kenya Red Cross Society Data Management Protocol. I played a crucial role in building organizational capacity through conducting Organizational Capacity Assessments (OCA) and developing Institutional Strengthening Plans (ISP).Additionally, I led documentation and communication strategies by reviewing best practices and success stories, ensuring that the knowledge gained was shared effectively. This role allowed me to ensure the quality and sustainability of program interventions and deepened my expertise in monitoring, evaluation, and learning within the humanitarian and public health sectors.

Led the development of M&E frameworks and manuals, guided the formulation of program indicators, and reviewed the quality of existing M&E data. I coordinated research studies, conducted capacity-building sessions, and collaborated with stakeholders to ensure effective knowledge management. My role also involved preparing M&E reports, managing data processes, and documenting best practices and research findings for dissemination.

Coordinated M&E and data activities at the sub-county level for HIV care, treatment, and prevention programs, including PMTCT, VMMC, and community engagement. I supervised data clerks, developed M&E tools, and ensured data accuracy for key stakeholders. My role involved managing sub-county databases, compiling reports, conducting training and mentorship, and contributing to public health evaluations and research. I also worked closely with the County Health Management Team and managed data requests at the county level.

Experienced in leading M&E processes, I was responsible for conducting periodic reviews of monitoring systems, facilitating M&E training for stakeholders, and overseeing data management to inform decision-making. I played a key role in coordinating and participating in routine program reviews, ensuring data integrity, and preparing reports on program performance. Additionally, I led advocacy and sensitization campaigns on human rights, education, climate change, HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, and environmental sustainability.

I contributed to large-scale survey research projects, explicitly supporting data processing and qualitative research on the Malaria Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS) Program. My role involved executing research techniques, documenting procedures precisely, and coordinating with principal investigators. Additionally, I entered data into the MIS, modelled results, and generated comprehensive reports.

Served as a Data Entry Clerk at Migori District Hospital. I managed data entry tasks, produced monthly reports using advanced Excel functions, and maintained electronic records focusing on accuracy and confidentiality. My role included supporting staff with administrative tasks, cataloguing records, and assisting in data collection for studies, ensuring efficient office operations and record management.
